• It is low on synthetic strength. Man-made energy is the energy that is expended (usually fossil fuels) in manufacturing material and transporting it to the primary location where it is likely to be used. Less embodied power is directly related to lower greenhouse emissions and reduced costs.
• About half of the dry wood’s weight is carbon taken from the ecosystem as carbon dioxide and conserved within the tree. This carbon is kept alive inside the wood, and is sequestered until the wood rots or is burned by hand.
• Ability to Recyle the used wooden boxes is another advantage.
• The most positive aspect of using wood-based packaging materials is their recyclability. For example, an average lifespan of  wooden pallets are close to 10 years. A pallet of this length can be repaired, reused, or refurbished multiple times.

• Once wood has been recycled and is not now considered not usable as a packing material then it can be directly recycled into a variety of goods for later use in bioelectricity.
