Corrugated Box packaging

Corrugated Box packaging

Corrugated cardboard is made from a combination of two sheets of paper, called liners, glued to an inner corrugated medium called a flute.

These three layers of paper are assembled and give the overall structure better strength than each separate layer. This construction forms a series of connected flutes or arches, which gives it its inherent strength.

This structure gives corrugated cardboard considerable stiffness and strength. The air circulating in the flutes also serves as an insulator, providing excellent protection against temperature variations.

The main use of corrugated cardboard is to make packaging that protects the goods inside.

There are many types of corrugated board, each with different flute sizes and profiles offering many combinations designed to create packages with different characteristics and performance. The corrugated cardboard can then be cut and folded into an infinite variety of shapes and sizes to become corrugated packaging. Corrugated cardboard is a high-performance packaging material designed to package, protect and promote products.

Corrugated cardboard boxes are available in 3-ply, 5-ply and 7-ply.
